The start of a new week and Day 6 of Juneathon. I was working from home today as the electricity man was fitting a new meter, so had planned to run in the evening. After the rain of the weekend, today was gloriously sunny, so the prospect of a nice evening run was on the cards. Finally at 6:30 it was off down the road for a planned 4 or 5 miles. On the road out of Knutsford there is a great wooden carving of King Canute, had to stop and get a picture.

Two miles into the run it was then time to go off road, I hesitated at the gate, was this the correct path? After much deliberation (evident in the 9:20 pace for this mile) I decided it was the correct path. The paths wind their way through farmers fields and in between the growing crops. I now know why I enjoy running!

A few more field crossings and I stumbled across an old farm machine which has certainly seen better days, I seem to recall this having been here for years. The path then runs parallel to the Radbrooke Hall grounds and finally out on to the road. By now I had covered 4 miles and was still over 2 miles from home, so the total distance was looking more like 6.5 miles. No problem, it was a lovely evening for running and the legs felt good. The final two miles were back along the main road for a total of 6.4 miles.
Stats
Distance: 6.4 miles
